Rollwerk Season Opening — Event Poster
Contest Winner // Client Project
Context & Briefing:
This poster was designed for the official "Season Opening" at Rollwerk, a well-known skate hall and cultural venue in Rüsselsheim, Germany. Out of multiple submissions in an open design contest, my draft was selected as the winning design and used for the event's official promotion on Instagram. The briefing required a digital layout optimized for social media (4:5 format / 1080 x 1350 px) incorporating all mandatory event details.
Concept:
The design concept heavily draws inspiration from the nostalgic early 2000s Y2K aesthetic, mimicking the energetic and bold layout of a vintage millennium magazine. To celebrate the venue's core identity, I integrated a skateboarding main visual element. The primary creative challenge was to arrange all required information into a clean structured layout while maintaining a raw and authentic streetwear vibe. The artwork was illustrated and composed digitally using Procreate.

Gorillaz Motion Study
Typography & Motion Design Study // Academic Project, 2nd Semester
Context & Briefing:
The objective of this motion design exercise was to create an animation using four specific letters, exploring how kinetic typography transforms visual storytelling and what range of movements are possible to stage letters into a cohesive word. For this project, I chose to create a visual homage to the band Gorillaz, syncing the entire typographic animation to the rhythm of their iconic track "Dare".
Concept:
To bring the project to life, I rotoscoped the Gorillaz characters directly from Fortnite footage using the Roto Brush tool in Adobe After Effects. I then created unique, dynamic typographic environments for each letter, fully animating and designing every scene from scratch. The focus was to merge character animation with modern kinetic layout structures.

Editorial Magazine
Editorial Design & Curation // Academic Project, 2nd Semester
Context & Briefing:
This project served as the final submission for the semester at Hochschule RheinMain, supervised by Prof. Taner Ercan. The briefing required the conceptualization, curation, and layout of a comprehensive print magazine that beautifully documents and connects the various creative tasks and design exercises completed throughout the semester in our copywriting course.
Concept:
To showcase the diverse contents of the semester, I designed a cohesive editorial identity with every page designed appropriately for the specific task. Since the full magazine spans 36 pages, this section presents a curated digital selection of the 7 strongest layouts and editorial spreads.
My Role:
Concept, Editorial Design, Layouting, Curation & Copywriting, Print.
Software used: Adobe InDesign & Adobe Illustrator.
Spread Selection: Fictional Spotify Campaign
This specific layout inside the magazine features a fictional advertising study for Spotify Premium. The creative challenge was to promote ad-free listening by matching well-known artists with commercial brands.
> Note: This is a purely fictional student assignment from my university course and was NOT commissioned or affiliated with Spotify.
Spread Selection: Fictional Gustavo Gusto Campaign
This section of the magazine showcases a fictional advertising and packaging study for Gustavo Gusto. The creative challenge focused on developing innovative pizza concepts driven by catchy, impactful headlines. The final designs were visualized using high-quality product packaging mockups.

Pigeon — Animated Short Film
Traditional Animation & Character Study // Academic Project, 3rd Semester
Context & Briefing:
The challenge of this assignment was to explore the core principles of traditional animation by creating a fluid, hand-drawn sequence. The focus was on mastering timing, weight, and organic movement patterns without relying on automated digital interpolation.
Concept:
I chose a pigeon as the main subject, analyzing its distinct, jerky head movements and unique urban behavior. Every single frame of this short film was meticulously drawn by hand to create a lively and character-driven motion sequence. To bring this animation to life, I illustrated over 2,415 individual frames, allowing me to deeply study easing, arcs, and the classic "squash and stretch" rules of traditional animation.
> Note: Sound effects are open-source.
My Role:
Character Design, Storyboarding, Hand-drawn Frame-by-Frame Animation & Sound Design.
Software used: Procreate Dreams.
